Let the flowers do it: Independent plants — how they spread and maintain themselves

Sigrid Tinz is a qualified geoecologist and conservationist. She has been working as a freelance author and speaker on all topics relating to biodiversity and nature conservation for more than 20 years. She gives lectures, seminars for young and old and reads from her books. On Instagram at @kraut_und_buecher, she regularly posts great photos and interesting tips for nature lovers and anyone who wants to. As a mother, dog owner, cat lover, gardener and committed conservationist, Sigrid knows the challenge of combining nature and everyday life. Having grown up in the countryside and now a happy city dweller with a balcony and allotment, she knows everything there is to know about gardening from her own experience. „Less work, more biodiversity“ is her motto, and it is her mission to pass this on.

Lecture content:

The lecture is about independent plants — how they spread and maintain themselves. And how this knowledge can be used in balcony gardening: for more relaxed, species-rich, climate-resistant, low-maintenance gardening. Sigrid presents the theory, which is the same everywhere, whether balcony, garden or park. Sigrid gives many examples for balconies of how best to apply this theory for more relaxed, species-rich, climate-resistant, low-maintenance gardening. Let the flowers do it!
