Saratah Keita

My balcony again. With little to abundance

Saratah Keita has been gardening on a 7 m² balcony in Berlin for 22 years. She caught my eye in our brilliant Facebook group for the Organic Balcony Congress with her experimental contributions. This desire to take a playful approach to gardening, to try out lots of things, to be courageous and achieve success and, above all, to experience a lot of joy and surprises, always delighted me when I read her posts. I asked Saratah if she would give a contribution for the Organic Balcony Congress, especially on regrowing, on regrowing vegetable waste. She has now given us a wonderful contribution on sustainable, resource-saving gardening in a small space, which I am very pleased about. With the ingenious title „Mein Nochmal Balkon. With little to abundance“. Thank you for your food for thought. Thank you for your courage and your time in preparing this fine, loving talk for us.

Content of the presentation:

Let yourself be surprised: My balcony again. With little to abundance. I’m sure there are more people like Saratah who work full-time, have few resources and don’t have a garden, but do have a balcony garden. She shows how you can make it beautiful, how you can achieve a lot with little effort. Saratah shows her pleasure, joy and willingness to experiment with simple, relaxed, resource-saving gardening on her balcony garden.

During the fine lecture, the two films did not start — here are the beautiful nature observations to watch:
