Cannabis: Relaxed education on hemp cultivation in pots from the master gardener’s practice

The Umbach nursery is a 2nd generation family business in Heilbronn. After training as a market gardener in his parents„ business, Klaus Umbach joined his parents“ business as a master gardener and horticultural technician in 1985, which he took over in 1997 with his wife Doris Burger-Umbach, master gardener and florist, and continuously developed and redesigned. They produce over 800,000 potted plants a year according to Bioland guidelines and their own mission statement “Healthy soil — healthy plants — healthy people”. The plant quality, variety and abundance of plants is impressive: flowering potted plants, vegetable plants, potted herbs, health-promoting plants such as Artemisia annua, hemp, jiaogulan, goji, chili, native wild plants. The Umbach Bioland nursery is a demonstration farm for organic farming and is currently training seven gardeners in ornamental plant cultivation.

Contents

We provide relaxed education about cannabis, out of the criminal milieu and fears, as hemp has many positive health effects. Each adult is allowed to grow a maximum of three flowering plants. However, we are only allowed to store 50 g of dried flowers at home. Once the flower has been processed (into oil, butter, alcohol or cookies), there is no limit. We can grow our own hemp in pots, on our own responsibility. Master gardener Klaus Umbach gives tips from his practical experience of growing cannabis. Important is the pot size, at least 20 liters, a nutrient-rich substrate (e.g. depot fertilization with 50 g sheep’s wool pellets or raw sheep’s wool), even water supply. Hemp is completely uncomplicated to grow, does not get pests, but needs a sunny location, lots of nutrients and water if you want to harvest a lot. The Bioland nursery sells strong young plants of the best, consistent organic quality. You know what quality you are getting to test out for yourself.

The organic balcony movement receives 5 % discount on organic plants and seeds: herbs, vegetables, wild plants. The 5 % discount is automatically reduced in the shopping cart. (Or enter discount code Bio-Balkon5)
