What you can expect:

It is a need and a matter close to my heart to “encourage” people to let their balconies, windowsills and terraces green and blossom and make them edible. The aspect of self-sufficiency in addition to promoting biodiversity is very important to me. I prefer to make my offers affordable so that many people can get started. Because I really want everyone to be able to afford to green their balcony and eat healthy food from it. It’s so easy, I’ll help you get started.

You have 14 days to look at everything in peace. If you then find that it does not meet your expectations, you will get your money back with no IFs and buts.

Invitations to the species consultation on Birgit’s organic balcony

Hello, I am Sigrid Tinz

Welcome to the kingdom of species! Herbs and books

I am a qualified geoecologist and book author on all topics relating to biodiversity, environmental protection and everyday life. I don’t just write books, I also give readings and talks to fellow experts and interested laypeople, online and live, and give workshops and seminars for young and old. The name of my website is “Herbs and Books” because that is exactly what it tries to express.

Gardens full of animals

My gardens are left to themselves out of conviction and lack of time. Despite this — and precisely for this reason — they are full of nature and truly small kingdoms of species. Gardens are special places, something between wild nature and tamed civilization. We have only borrowed this piece of nature from the universe and should treat it as such. Not just styling it as our green living room, but preserving it as a living space for all species to whom it belongs just as much as it belongs to us.

Turn your life into a kingdom of species

My mission is to pass this on. This is not only possible in your own garden, but everywhere in everyday life. Even a balcony or a slice of tree on your doorstep can become a green kingdom of species.
