Content of the lecture:
Native wild plants are ideal for an insect-friendly balcony. Helge Masch has grown millions of young plants for the special botanical garden in Hamburg-Wandsbek and other public areas in Hamburg. “Sowing and then what?” deals with basic thoughts on sowing, because the technique of sowing on the windowsill or in the greenhouse is no different from the later use of the plants. We will look at light germinators, cold germinators, cold germinators and “normalos”. In the second part, Helge describes how to prick out so that the seedlings don’t fall over! And, of course, he also discusses seed harvesting.
