Der Wildpflanzenexperte und Gärtnermeister Friedhelm Strickler spricht beim Online Bio-Balkon-Kongress

Friedhelm Strickler

Bepflanzung & Substrat mit heimischen Wildpflanzen für Nordbalkons und schattige Ecken

Friedhelm Strickler is one of the pioneers of the natural garden movement. The trained master landscape gardener met Reinhard Witt, the founder of the new nature garden association, at the first nature garden conference in 1990 and began planting nature gardens. Due to the difficulties in procuring native wild plants, he had the idea of propagating, growing and selling wild plants himself. He founded Wildstaudengärtnerei Strickler in Alzey, which is in Rheinhessen in south-eastern Rhineland-Palatinate. He and his wife Monika can now look back on over 30 years of experience. As a certified “Specialist company for natural greenery — recommended by Bioland”, they work according to strict organic guidelines. Here we get wild flowers, shrubs, wild roses, edible wild plants, climbing plants, scented plants and aquatic plants in organic quality. Only the flower bulbs are not yet available in organic quality. His high level of expertise and practical experience in the cultivation and use of wild plants and wild perennials are appreciated by customers not only when buying plants, but also when planning and designing gardens.
