As direc­tor of the spe­cial bota­ni­cal gar­den in Ham­burg-Wands­bek, he offers gui­ded tours and gives lec­tures the­re and throug­hout Ger­ma­ny. He also offers staff trai­ning cour­ses for gar­den offices. For 5 years, he was on the Ham­burg regio­nal radio sta­ti­on NDR 90.3 as a “radio gar­de­ner” and ans­we­red lis­ten­ers’ gar­den and plant ques­ti­ons in the month­ly live broad­cast. The ama­teur pho­to­grapher offers pho­to­gra­phy cour­ses.
