Gar­den edu­ca­tor, gar­den con­sul­tant and free­lan­ce jour­na­list Hei­de Berg­mann is co-foun­der of BUND’s Frei­burg eco-sta­ti­on. She foun­ded the “Green Class­room” and the medi­cinal herb gar­den the­re. Hei­de holds work­shops for children’s groups, young peo­p­le and hob­by gar­den­ers on herb cul­ti­va­ti­on and orga­nic gar­dening. She has writ­ten gre­at books such as “Long live the basil”, “Wild herbs from pot and gar­den”, “Medi­ter­ra­ne­an herbs” and “Gar­den fun for child­ren”.
