It is inten\u00added to inspi\u00adre peo\u00adp\u00adle who like to tin\u00adker to build an inex\u00adpen\u00adsi\u00adve ver\u00adti\u00adcal bed. The invest\u00adment cos\u00adts are 60 EUR!  <\/p>\n\n

Dear Bir\u00adgit! But first I would like to thank you very much for this gre\u00adat, varied and super-orga\u00adni\u00adzed orga\u00adnic bal\u00adc\u00ado\u00adny con\u00adgress. My sis\u00adter recom\u00admen\u00added it to me. I have to say, the\u00adre were so many dif\u00adfe\u00adrent and wide-ran\u00adging topics, I real\u00adly did\u00adn\u2019t expect that. Her self-built ver\u00adti\u00adcal bed is alre\u00ada\u00addy pro\u00adving its worth the\u00adre for the 3rd year.  <\/p>\n\n

Dear Bir\u00adgit, I fol\u00adlo\u00adwed (almost) all the vide\u00ados very clo\u00adse\u00adly again this year! Thank you for your tire\u00adless efforts in this important pro\u00adject, I admi\u00adre your disci\u00adpli\u00adne, per\u00adse\u00adver\u00adance and pas\u00adsi\u00adon, it gets more exten\u00adsi\u00adve and pro\u00adfes\u00adsio\u00adnal every year. Of cour\u00adse you can use the pic\u00adtures as you see fit. I plan\u00adted a lot in the ver\u00adti\u00adcal bed last year, had radis\u00adhes, various let\u00adtuces and bee flowers on the top shelf. Unfort\u00adu\u00adna\u00adte\u00adly, I was abroad for the who\u00adle of July, August and Sep\u00adtem\u00adber; my son lovin\u00adg\u00adly took care of the wate\u00adring and I did\u00adn\u2019t get to see much of it. Edwin\u2019s buil\u00adding ins\u00adtruc\u00adtions: I don\u2019t have any ins\u00adtruc\u00adtions, apart from the infor\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon that the boards are made of 18 mm thick, 1.20 m long can\u00advas from the DIY store. The back wall con\u00adsists of a so-cal\u00adled OSB board, also 18 mm thick (but could also be made from glued lami\u00adna\u00adted tim\u00adber). I left the wood unt\u00adrea\u00adted, just lined it with black con\u00ads\u00adtruc\u00adtion foil to make it last a litt\u00adle lon\u00adger. A hand\u00adsaw and cord\u00adless screw\u00addri\u00adver were all I nee\u00added.<\/p>\n\n

The holes in the pipes are to ensu\u00adre the con\u00adnec\u00adtion to the soil in the box. The two drain taps are for drai\u00adning the liquid. Now I\u2019m faced with the ques\u00adti\u00adon of how to start the com\u00adpos\u00adting pro\u00adcess and with what. On the one hand, I\u2019ve had good expe\u00adri\u00aden\u00adces with my worm bin and could pos\u00adsi\u00adbly trans\u00adfer the prin\u00adci\u00adple here, but on the other hand I\u2019m also inte\u00adres\u00adted in making com\u00adpost with Effec\u00adti\u00adve Micro\u00ador\u00adga\u00adnisms (EM)<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n

I have lear\u00adned so much and will be gro\u00adwing vege\u00adta\u00adbles and salads on my bal\u00adc\u00ado\u00adny for the first time this win\u00adter. Ever\u00ady\u00adthing that was explai\u00adned is alre\u00ada\u00addy being imple\u00admen\u00adted. We built a new one in spring and now they are defi\u00adni\u00adte\u00adly not emp\u00adty in win\u00adter \ud83d\ude0c<\/span><\/p>\n

We live on the 2nd flo\u00ador and have a small bal\u00adc\u00ado\u00adny with mor\u00adning sun. I\u2019ve alre\u00ada\u00addy sown rocket, kale, cress and radis\u00adhes to fill the emp\u00adty spaces soon. Got this idea from Pin\u00adte\u00adrest. Got the boxes quite chea\u00adp\u00adly from the DIY store and strips to make the legs. You can extend or rai\u00adse it as you like. I stap\u00adled foil insi\u00adde and then ser\u00ada\u00admis balls at the bot\u00adtom, then thin fleece and herb soil on top. I love the look \ud83d\ude0a The bal\u00adc\u00ado\u00adny boxes con\u00adtain bora\u00adge, mari\u00adgolds and bee flowers. Me and the child\u00adren are alre\u00ada\u00addy exci\u00adted to see what will grow. As I did the trai\u00adning with Patri\u00adcia Pur\u00adker and also with Ange\u00adli\u00adka F\u00fcrst\u00adler<\/a> it fits per\u00adfect\u00adly into my self-cate\u00adring con\u00adcept\ud83d\ude0a, and 2 months ago we were final\u00adly able to rent a gar\u00adden <\/p>\n
